The July 2016 West Perth Office Tenant Census has been developed by examining the occupancy floor by floor of each of the 375 office buildings across West Perth. This Report outlines who the major occupiers of office space are by industry and building grade.
The Report shows that the West Perth vacancy rate has increased significantly across the first half of 2016. There is now just under 100,000 sq m of space vacant in West Perth – this represents a vacancy rate of 20.4%. This is a historical high for West Perth.
This level of vacancy has been created by:
- A number of major West Perth tenants relocating to the CBD or suburban markets; or
- Tenants downsizing – particularly in the engineering sector.
Copies of West Perth Office Tenant Census are available to pre-order for $550 inc GST.
