What is Y Research?
Y Research is an independent Western Australian property information and research company.
Why Y Research?
In 2010, I set up Y Research to fill an unmet need for credible, unbiased property market information in Western Australia. Too often, property research was not being independently verified and suffered from incomplete coverage of growing markets.
I saw the opportunity to provide a premium, personal service for clients wanting a competitive edge in an age where credible data for business, planning or development modelling is critical.
Since then, through the physical inspection of over 10,000 properties, I have now built an unrivalled research database of Perth’s commercial property stock. Y Research allows clients fingertip access to unique data, broken down by region and suburbs across metropolitan Perth, that cannot be sourced from anywhere else in Australia.
One crucial differentiator is that we verify our work with on the ground property inspections. We believe that to fully understand a market, it’s best to walk that market. For data accuracy, there is no better substitute than having a look at a property yourself. Whilst this data collation method is often time consuming, it gives us the edge over other services that rely only on government sourced data that is not always current in an ever changing marketplace.
